IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION FOR VISAS REQUIRING AN INVITATION LETTER

• Some visa categories require the inviter in Argentina to submit an invitation letter. This is only for initiating the visa process and does not guarantee visa approval.
• The inviter in Argentina can issue the invitation letter using:
  a) A paper format, legalized by a Notary Public and Notarial Association
  b) A digital format, via the Trámites a Distancia (TAD) platform

IMPORTANT: The foreign guest or inviter must notify the Consulate via email at visas.croma@mrecic.gov.ar with the Electronic File Number generated by TAD, or, in the case of a paper letter, send a scanned copy in advance (on the day of the appointment, the original legalized letter must be presented).
